During our family vacation at Hotel Smaragd, we enjoyed a pleasantly surprising stay. As a historian fascinated by medieval architecture, I appreciated the hotel's historic charm, which offered a serene backdrop for our family getaway. Mornings began with a delightful breakfast experience. We anticipated a lackluster continental spread but were instead treated to a variety of egg dishes prepared just as we liked them. The friendly staff ensured our needs were met, making breakfast a relaxing start to each day. Our children loved the on-site playground, which allowed them to blow off steam before our adventures in the picturesque town. The quiet room facilitated peaceful nights, ensuring we were well-rested for our explorations. The area offered various activities, catering to all ages, including nearby golfing. With a welcoming atmosphere and plenty of family-friendly amenities, Hotel Smaragd was a lovely base from which to experience the rich history of the region.
